Abundance For All
Raining Acorns Mural
Santa Cruz, California

Presented as a welcoming gift to people coming into Santa Cruz from the north, the golden acorns represent abundance... so much from so little. For the native Awaswas tribe, the acorn was harvested eagerly in late October. The idea of "raining acorns" poses the nut into a flight of celebration.
